There are many weight loss surgery or weight loss treatments available in the market nowadays. Botox is a bacteria culture-farmed neurotoxin that can be effective in helping with weight loss among other methods. Botox injection for weight loss has the ability to interfering with neurotransmitter compounds within that area resulting in temporary muscular relaxation when injected into a neuromuscular junction.Research Findings

The use of the Botox in the stomach is a new procedure that may seem strange for some people. It is due to the reason that it does not work well for everyone. There is a need to identify who can use it for weight loss and who cannot. Botox has been found useful in treating stomach diseases.
Botox is also instrumental in treating other gastric diseases such as Gastroparesis. Gastroparesis is a disease of the muscles of the stomach or the nerves controlling the muscles that cause the muscles to stop working. Gastroparesis results in inadequate grinding of food by the stomach, and poor emptying of food from the stomach into the intestine.
Causes
When damage has been done to the Vagus nerve, this condition is called as Gastroparesis and it due to this condition, food does not pass through digestive system normally. Generally, the causes behind Gastroparesis are unknown. But some diseases contribute to Gastroparesis and they are listed as follows.

• Stomach surgery or trauma causing damage to the Vagus nerve
• Narcotic over-the-counter medications and some antidepressants
• Parkinson’s disease
